Switchboard Relocation & Upgrade - Corrimal

This Corrimal homeowner was midway through a renovation and the existing switchboard was sitting in a spot that no longer suited the new layout. They asked us to move it and bring it up to scratch at the same time.

The challenge

Relocating a board means carefully extending the mains and every sub circuit to the new position without disturbing the rest of the home. The old board was also undersized for the extra circuits the renovation was adding.

How we approached it

We planned the new position with the owner so it was easy to access but tucked out of sight. From there we ran the supply across to a larger enclosure with room to grow, fitted safety switches across the board, and made sure the additional renovation circuits were ready to connect.
