Kitchen & Pendant Lighting Install - Wollongong

Following a kitchen renovation, this Wollongong homeowner wanted lighting that did justice to the new space. The brief was practical task lighting paired with a couple of statement pendants over the island.

Designing the layout

Good kitchen lighting works in layers. We positioned the pendants so they lit the bench without blocking sightlines, and planned the under cabinet strips to wash light evenly across the work surfaces where it is needed most.

The work

We installed the new pendant points at the correct height and spacing, ran the under cabinet LED strips with a hidden driver, and put the whole lot on a dimmer so the owner can shift from bright cooking light to a softer evening setting.
